Four modes
Pick the mode that matches what you can see: too small, too grainy, a little soft, or a face that needs help. Each one says plainly what it cannot do.
An AI model redraws the photo at four times its width and height. Best for small photos, old downloads, and tight crops.

Privacy
Cloud enhancers upload your picture, process it on their servers, and delete it later under their own policy. Local Photo Upscaler does the work locally with models that ship inside the app, which is why it still works in airplane mode.

How it works
Choose one photo or select several and apply one tool to the batch. Photos process one after another, with progress shown in the app. Compare each finished result before saving.

Upscale, Denoise, Sharpen, or Faces. The app shows the output size before you run it.
Drag the slider, zoom in on eyes, edges, and texture, and save a new copy only if it helps.

Honest limits
An upscaler makes an educated guess about missing detail. These are the cases where that guess runs out.
Upscale output is capped at about 17 megapixels. On iOS 1.1.10, very large photos may be processed at a smaller size on devices with less memory. Check the actual result dimensions; crop to the subject when appropriate.
Sharpen helps slight softness. It cannot reconstruct a shaky or badly out-of-focus shot.
Faces is AI restoration and can change fine features. Compare carefully before replacing a family photo.
If letters are not legible in the source, no mode will reliably recover them.
It enhances still photos, including batches processed one after another. It is not a RAW editor or a video enhancer.
No scratch removal and no colorizing. It enlarges, cleans, and sharpens what is already there.
